Recently, I was talking with Kristi Frank, star of NBC’s hit TV show The Apprentice, and the topic of being fired came up.

Kristi and I share an interesting perspective on being “fired”(of course, she had the privilege of being fired by Donald Trump himself…kinda cool). We also disagree completely on something else, which you’ll hear about toward the end of this story.

We discussed a very shocking trend which will most likely affect you for years to come. It’s actually more than a “trend” because trends come and go, but this undoubtedly has the power to alter your life forever.

Now, as you and millions of others worldwide who watched Kristi on The Apprentice already know, she ended up getting fired by Donald. I guess if you absolutely must get fired, having Trump do it would be the way to go.

However…

I’ve chosen not to put myself in a position to be fired, by Donald or anyone else for that matter.

You should do the same…

At least that’s my opinion. Kristi, on the other hand, seems to have mixed feelings on being fired. She put herself in the position to be fired…to let someone else determine her value, which I disagree with. But, the career she has chosen makes it necessary to put yourself in that path. I would never knock her for that. As Theodore Roosevelt said in his famous speech (which if you haven’t read, you should do so right away), she “failed while daring greatly”.

So, my question to you is…

Have you chosen a career that will allow you to be “fired” or have you chosen a career that will allow you to determine your true value and worth?

If you’ve chosen a career that has you working for someone else, I sure hope it’s taking you down a path of fame and fortune like Kristi’s career is. If not, it’s time to re-evaluate your career.

Anyways, Kristi and I seem to disagree on working for other people, but we do agree on real estate to build financial freedom. Even though Kristi works for someone else, she still has considerable real estate holdings, which shows me that she’s got a backup plan in case she’s “fired” for good.

That’s Barack Hussein Obama’s solution to the high price of gasoline… that’s his energy policy — in his own words!

In other words, Obama’s energy policy is for you to eat less, drive a small death-trap of a car and let your family freeze in the winter.

Here’s the problem:

If President George W. Bush or some other conservative made such an arrogant statement which — in my opinion (and I’m sure in yours too) — shows a deep-seated undercurrent of disdain for the American way of life, it would be on the front page of the New York Times and the lead story on every major television network.

But President Bush didn’t make that statement… Barack Hussein Obama did and the media is SILENT! The vast majority of Americans (Republicans, Democrats and Independents) will NEVER KNOW HE UTTERED THOSE WORDS!

Exposing The Myth That Obama Is For The Little Guy…

Barack Hussein Obama plays the class-envy card like a virtuoso. If Americans have to suffer… that’s okay… Obama is fighting for the little guy!

Or is he?

According to the Denver Post:

“‘There is a choice that is before folks,’ said Hari Sevugan, a spokesman in Democrat Barack Obama’s presidential campaign. ‘Do we want leadership that’s been tied to the folks making money from (high gas prices), or do we want leadership that’s fighting for us on this?’”

But even the liberal New York Times noted that Obama “praised” the recent Farm Bill, a huge boondoggle that benefits major agribusiness by extending government subsidies for corn ethanol.

The same article also states:

“Mr. Obama is running as a reformer who is seeking to reduce the influence of special interests. But like any other politician, he has powerful constituencies that help shape his views. And when it comes to domestic ethanol, almost all of which is made from corn, he also has advisers and prominent supporters with close ties to the industry at a time when energy policy is a point of sharp contrast between the parties and their presidential candidates.”

But wait a minute, alternative fuels like ethanol are great for the environment and reduce the price of gasoline at the pump… RIGHT?

WRONG! Even the liberal magazine Rolling Stone has weighed in on that myth:

“Ethanol doesn’t burn cleaner than gasoline, nor is it cheaper. Our current ethanol production represents only 3.5 percent of our gasoline consumption — yet it consumes twenty percent of the entire U.S. corn crop, causing the price of corn to double in the last two years and raising the threat of hunger in the Third World.”

“So why bother? Because the whole point of corn ethanol is not to solve America’s energy crisis, but to generate one of the great political boondoggles of our time.

“And since America provides two-thirds of all global corn exports, the impact is being felt around the world. In Mexico, tortilla prices have jumped sixty percent, leading to food riots. In Europe, butter prices have spiked forty percent, and pork prices in China are up twenty percent. By 2025, according to Runge and Senauer, rising food prices caused by the demand for ethanol and other biofuels could cause as many as 600 million more people to go hungry worldwide.”

Since when is taking money from the wallets of American taxpayers to subsidize something that could cause HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of people to go hungry being for the little guy?

Isn’t Barack Hussein Obama the man who wants to take what could — according to some estimates — amount to $845 BILLION dollars from American taxpayers and give it to a United Nations agency to supposedly alleviate Global Poverty?

Or was he simple against Global Poverty before he was for it?

Various polls are indicating that a vast majority of Americans support drilling for more oil domestically as one means of alleviating our energy problems .

Yep, you read that correctly. Shaq Fu is considering a career as a real estate investor, just like you and me! Who would have ever thunk it?

Sometimes it just sucks to be the new kid!

I remember back when I first set out to become a real estate investor. I had 200 bucks to my name, no real job, poor credit and my first son was en route.

Wow…what a scary and yet exciting time.

I really didn’t have a bunch of confidence in myself business wise, either.

In case you’re one of the few people who don’t already know, I was practically homeless not to long before I got into real estate. I had no job and was picking up pallets on the side of the road, loading them into the back of my beat up old Ford pick up truck, and then selling them to a pallet recycling company for 2 bucks a piece. I found and sold 7 or 8 pallets on a good day.

Not exactly enough mon-ey to put anything other than 7-11 chili dogs in my gullet.

Getting started in real estate was intimidating. I’m sure it hasn’t been a piece of cake for you, either?

Anyways, I stuck to a game plan and committed all my time to getting a real world real estate education. I studied everything I could get my hands on and went to every fr-ee seminar that came to town (you know, the Russ Whitney sales pitch types).

It took me close to a year of studying before I did my first deal (which was a disaster by the way). But, as time went on and I continued to learn a funny thing happened.

Real estate became easier and easier.

At this point, I like to think I have this residential real estate game down to a science. This business has taught me a lot and it’s helped provide for my family. Actually, “provide” may not be the best word. It’s helped me go from a dead broke, practically homeless young man to a man with a wife and 3 kids in private school, living in a 2 mill-yun dollar house and driving nice cars.

My point to you is this…

I’ve accomplished more than most people in this business for a couple reasons. I’ve made more mistakes than most people…taken more calculated risks than most people…and even failed more times than most people. And I’ve learned from my mistakes and capitalized on them.

I’ve developed a system that works and because of that system, you can benefit from my years of experiences in the real estate investing game.
